Intro to Pottery Wheel: May 2024 | 6-week

Regular price$395.00
/

This class is geared for anyone with little or no clay experience! Classes are in-person for 6-weeks, with 2.5 hours of guided instruction during your selected time each week.

Over the course of the 6 weeks, we will teach you everything needed in order to transform clay through the different stages of the ceramic making process.  Our talented teachers will guide you every step of the way, using all the tools and techniques needed to create wheel thrown and hand-built pottery. We'll teach you how to design and glaze your pieces, and you’ll be able to take home and use everything you make once you’ve finished the 6-week course!

All the materials and tools are provided, so just bring your willingness to take chances, make mistakes, and get messy!

An added benefit of being a student at CBTB is time to practice outside of your regularly scheduled class time.  Come in for Open Studio Hours to practice and make pieces outside of your class period.

I’ve now taken a few classes at Clay By The Bay, all with different instructors - all have been wonderful experiences. It’s fun to see how different people teach the same concepts and find what clicks for you
